The HP Scanjet 5500c is a complete imaging station that makes it as easy as possible for you to capture any image you like. With its automatic photo feed (APF), you can load up as many as 24 photos (9 x 13 or 10 x 15 cm) and leave it to scan them all - at up to 4 prints a minute. With 2400 dpi / 48-bit performance, scans are crisp and colours rich and lifelike, and instant-on means no waiting for warm-up. Use the standard scanner hood and you can capture larger photos, graphics and text - even 3D objects such as books or framed pictures. Or by clipping on its bundled transparency adapter, you can even scan slides and negatives. The HP Scanjet 5500c comes with HP Photo & Imaging software including HP Memories Disc Creator software, which enables you to create multimedia CDs with slideshows with music, or save photos to CD. For maximum convenience, five one-touch buttons provide easy access to the functions you'll use most: copy, scan, e-mail, share-to-web and HP Memories Disc Creator.
