Catch their attention with flawless images on backlit film
2 July 2008 - Your work is your reputation on display. Professionals producing quality images for advertising and display signage need to ensure that the images are sharp and the material is durable.
Today, Epson announce the launch of Backlit Film to extend its already impressive offering of quality substrates.
Epson backlit film is 170µm and available with a matte finish. Able to display clear, sharp images in all colours, even matte black, this material delivers the highest colour gamut and colour density available. Quick drying time with Epson UltraChrome inks helps to keep the production line moving whilst the durability and robustness of the substrate withstands the elements.
The Epson backlit film evenly distributes the back light and will ensure that all display work or advertisements are eye catching, clear and bright. Epson backlit film is suitable for use with the renowned range of Epson UltraChrome K3 inks; UltraChrome K3 as used in the Stylus Pro 7800, UltraChrome K3 with Vivid Magenta used in the Stylus Pro 7880, 9880 and 64†11880 and the new 5th generation UltraChrome™ HDR (High Dynamic Range) ink launched with the Stylus Pro 7900 and 9900 at Drupa 2008.
Epson UltraChrome™ HDR ink is an 11-colour ink set consisting of Photo black, Matte black, Light black, Light Light black, Cyan, Vivid Magenta, Yellow, Light cyan, Vivid Light magenta, Orange and Green. This high quality ink set expands Epson’s UltraChrome™ K3 with Vivid Magenta by adding Orange and Green inks, which significantly increases the range of colours that can be achieved, especially bright green to yellow, and yellow to red. The Orange ink in particular contributes to smoother skin tones.
